Shopping day in my Island

Ya estamos en el Ecuador de la semana y sigo de vacaciones, esta vez en Tenerife, mi isla querida y una vez aterrizada he aprovechado para hacer unas compritas por la Calle Castillo, una céntrica y concurrida calle peatonal que reúne gran cantidad de tiendas y he encontrado cosas muy monas.

Mi primera parada fue Blanco donde me compré un collar de cadena con una telita trenzada fucsia muy mona, H&M fue la siguiente y allí sólo me compré un turbante negro trenzado muy chulo para el invierno (si, ya estoy pensando en invierno y estamos casi a 40 grados, pero es taaaan mona!), la siguiente parada: Zara, estaba loca por la camisa militar con apliques que ya la había nombrado en el post de Rompan filas! y la verdad que estoy encantada con ella, es preciosa!, también me compré una bomber con lentejuelas de colores que es una pasada! y un collar con cuerda y piedras de colores con strass. Todo de la nueva temporada.

Y por último hice una parada en Bershka, que a veces encuentro cositas y me compre una camisa de encaje negra de manga corta.

Creo que de momento estoy servida, tenía que aprovechar aquí que en Londres está todo el 40% más caro.

We already are in the halfway point of the week and still on holidays, this time in Tenerife, my beloved island.

Once I landed I used to do some shopping in the main shopping street in the city, Calle Castillo, a central and busy pedestrian street that brings several shops and I found some cute things.

My first stop was Blanco where I bought a nice fucsia chain necklace, next stop was H&M where I just bought a black twisted turban for the winter (Yes, I'm thinking in Winter and now we have almost 35 degrees, but it's so cuuute!), next stop: Zara, I was crazy for the military shirt with long sleeves that I talked about it in my post Rompan filas! and I'm loving it, it's gorgeous!, I also bought an amazing sequins bomber and a nice necklace with strings, stones and strass. Everything from the new season.
And the last one was Bershka where I sometimes found nice things and I got a nice black lace shirt with short sleeves.

For the moment, I'm satisfied! I had to do some shopping here because in London is 40% more expensive.

Último día en Lanzarote...Hoy les dejo con el Lookbook de la nueva temporada Otoño/Invierno 2012/2013 de Zara una de mis marcas highstreet preferidas, aunque para mi gusto se están pasando con los precios, sobre todo en Londres que ponen el mismo precio en euros que en libras...pero aún así soy fiel seguidora y la mayor parte de mi armario es de Zara.

No se si a ustedes les pasa pero cuando estoy en Invierno deseo que sea verano para vestir fresquita y no estar cargando con tanto abrigo, pero cuando llega el verano me pasa lo contrario, pienso ya en mis próximos outfits de invierno, abrigadita con sueters de cuello alto, medias, botines... Aunque desde que vivo en Londres estoy pensando siempre en el verano ya que paso más tiempo vestida de invierno y la verdad es que cansa. Por ahora me queda otra semana más de playa y de poder llevar las piernas al aire, vestir sin mucha complicación y llevar sandalias!Cuánto las voy a echar de menos..:(
Pero bueno ya tendré tiempo de llevar abrigo durante muchos meses para mi desgracia...jaja

De las fotos que hoy subo lo que más me gusta son las chaquetas tweed que gustan tanto que las renuevan cada temporada, y a mi me encantan!, vestidos de encaje, vamos a seguir viendo las tachuelas y los pinchos en los blazers y las chaquetas de cuero que para mi gusto son una pasada. Otro abrigo que me ha encantado es el negro tipo tweed con las mangas de piel que lo he estado buscando en la página pero no lo encuentro y en el look solo nombra el pitillo y la camisa, lo encontraré!! Y mi prenda favorita es el jersey de punto blanco oversize que ojalá lo haya en más colores, porque me encantan ese tipo de jerseys, te sacan de cualquier apuro cuando no sabes que ponerte, yo los combino mucho con shorts de talle alto y medias tupidas o leotardos, con pitillos y si eres alta con faldas largas de seda y botines también queda genial.
Estoy segura de que ahora el tiempo en Londres esta fresquito así que...¿por qué no echar un vistazo a la nueva colección y dejarme inspirar?

Last day in Lanzarote...Today the post is the Lookbook for the new season AW 2012/2013 of Zara that is one of my favourite highstreet brands, although they are rising the prices too much, particularly in London that put the same price in euros to pounds... but still I am a faithful follower and most of my closet is from Zara.

I don't know you but when I'm in winter wish that summer comes to dress nice and cool and not be charged with both coat, but when it comes I feel otherwise, I am already thinking of my next winter outfits, warm with Turtleneck sweaters,tights, high knee socks, boots... But since I live in London I'm always thinking in the summer since I spend more time dressed in winter and the truth is that you get tired. For now I have another week of beach and carry the legs into the air and dress without much complication and wearing sandals!I will miss them so much! :(
Anyway, I'll already have time to take shelter for many months for my misfortune... haha

The pics I upload today what I like most are the tweed jackets that liked so much and that's because they renew them each season, and I love it!, lace dresses, follow the tacks and skewers on the blazers and leather jackets in my opinion an amazing combination. Another coat that I loved is the black tweed with leather sleeves, I've been looking on the webpage but I can't find it so probably is not on sale already, anyway I will find it! And my favorite garment is the white dot oversize jumper hopefully they have more colors because I love that kind of jumpers, you out of any trouble when you don't know what to wear, I combine them a lot with high-waisted shorts and bushy stockings or tights, with skinnies and if you're tall with long silk skirts and boots also it looks great.
I'm sure London's weather is a bit chilly so why not take a look of the new collection and get inspired?

Rompan filas!

Vuelve lo militar! el año pasado ya veíamos en las tiendas las parkas militares y este año vuelve todo lo relacionado con ella, tanto el color khaki como las formas de sus prendas.
La parka militar es un must imprescindible que todas deberíamos tener en nuestro armario. Yo me hice con una el pasado otoño de H&M en rebajas y sólo me costo 10 libras!
A mi particularmente que toda la ropa sea con motivo militar no me gusta porque lo que son las formas de los abrigos o chaquetas no son muy de mi estilo, en cambio la parka si me gusta en todos sus variantes, cortas, más largas, con capucha o sin ella, con adornos..., pero la tela camuflaje no me convence todavía. No me veo llevándola.
Y tú...¿te atreves con la tendencia militar?

Returns the military! last year we saw in stores military parkas and this year again everything that has to do with it, both the khaki color as forms of its clothes.

Military parka is a season must have that all should have in our closet. I did with one last autumn of H&M and it only cost me 10 pounds!
For me that all clothing is with military reason is too much, because the forms of coats or jackets are not very my style, instead the parka I like in all its variants, short, long, hooded or without, with trims.. but fabric camouflage I am not convinced yet. I am not taking it.
And you... do you dare with the military trend?

Japo experience

Hoy les traigo un post de comida, una de mis favoritas, la japonesa, y es que cuando hablas de comida japonesa muchos lo asocian a pescado crudo, y nada más lejos de la realidad.
El restaurante Nippon Teppanyaki fundado hace 12 años está en Lanzarote en el pueblo pesquero de Puerto del Carmen, y es el mejor japonés que he probado en mi vida, tiene una carta extensísima (cosa que resumiría porque si no tienes idea de que comer te puedes volver loco). El señor Tao, propietario y único chef del restaurante hace cocina de fusión y tiene platos de elaboración propia. añadiendole mango o papaya y utilizando el pescado fresco de la isla.
Este restaurante es mi antojo durante todo el año y cada vez que vengo a Lanzarote no puede faltar una cena. La explosión de sabores, la presentación.. todo está cuidado al mínimo detalle.

Esta vez nos pedimos, por orden:

New style sashimi, a mi me encanta el de salmón y atún pero esta vez nos pusieron tambien pescado blanco. Riquísimo.
Champiñones rellenos de no se el que con wasabi mayo que también estan buenísimos.
Hawaian roll, no tengo palabras para describir este plato, esta impresionante.
Spicy tuna roll caliente
Mango tango roll, la mezcla del salmón con el mango es exquisita.
Tartar de atún
Pollo teriyaki roll, bueno pero no el mejor plato.
Nos dieron una degustación de tataki de salmón que estaba buenísima.
Y creo recordar que nada más.

Definitivamente para mí es uno de mis restaurantes favoritos y se lo recomiendo a todo aquel que le encante la comida japonesa y que se atrevan a descubrir nuevos sabores.

Today I bring you a post of food, one of my favorites, the Japanese, and it is that when you talk about Japanese food many associated it to raw fish, and nothing further from reality.
The restaurant Nippon Teppanyaki founded 12 years ago is in Lanzarote in the fishing village of Puerto del Carmen and is the best Japanese restaurant I've ever tasted in my life, has a very extensive menu (which would summarize because if you have no idea what to eat you can go crazy). Mr Tao, owner and the chef makes fusion cuisine and has homemade dishes. adding mango or papaya with fresh fish on the island.
This restaurant is my craving all year and everytime I come to Lanzarote can not miss a dinner. The explosion of flavors, the presentation... everything is taken care of to the last detail.

This time we ordered:

New style sashimi, I love salmon and tuna but this time we had white fish also. Delicious.
Stuffed mushrooms with wasabi mayo that are also real good.
Hawaian roll, I have no words to describe this dish, it's impressive.
Spicy tuna roll hot, amazing.
Mango tango roll, the salmon with the mango mixture is exquisite.
Tartar of tuna with mango, another delicious dish.
And chicken teriyaki roll, good but not the best dish.
They Gave us a tasting of tataki of salmon which was very good too.

Is definitely for me one of my favorite restaurants and I recommend it to anyone that loves Japanese food and who dare to discover new flavours.

Lanzarote

Lanzarote, tierra de volcanes...

Hoy me he ido de excursión por la mañana a la playa del Paso, una playa que está escondida entre las montañas del Parque Nacional de Timanfaya. El paseo son unos 4 kilómetros pero vale la pena poder disfrutar de ese tipo de playas virgenes. El otro día muy cerca de la casa de mis abuelos en el Golfo, bajamos a otra playa y comentaba con mi madre y mi hermana lo increíble que era poder estar en una cala sólo para nosotras. Para mí la isla de Lanzarote es una de las más bonitas, porque no tiene que ver nada con las demás islas. Tiene un paisaje lunar impresionante, pequeñas calas, maravillosos rincones para disfrutar con familia o amigos. Lanzarote posee algunas de las mejores playas de Europa.
Desde pequeña he venido a pasar temporadas aquí y éste año ha sido el primero en 14 años y el último que hemos podido disfrutar en la casa de mis abuelos, ya que van a haber algunos cambios en la casa, y es la última vez que la hemos podido disfrutar tal y como la recordábamos.
Hoy es la última tarde que pasamos aquí, así que voy a disfrutar de la última puesta de sol!!

Lanzarote, land of volcanoes...

Today we have done a tour in the morning to El Paso beach, a beach which is hidden between the mountains of the National Park of Timanfaya. It's a 4 kilometres walk, but it is worth to enjoy that kind of Virgin beaches.The other day I was talking with my mother and my sister what incredible was been in a cove just for us. For me the island of Lanzarote is one of the most beautiful because it has nothing to do with the other islands. It has a stunning lunar landscape, small coves, wonderful places to enjoy with family or friends. Lanzarote has some of the best beaches in Europe.

Since I was a child I have spent some seasons in my grandparents house and this year is the first in 14 years and the last one that we have been able to enjoy, there will be some changes in the House, and this is the last time that it were able to enjoy such as the remembered.
This evening is the last one, so let's enjoy the last sunset!
