No olvides pedirte unas papas bravas!

Happy Wednesday! Today I have prepared for you a guide with 6 of my favourite restaurants in London and that I will never get bored visiting. Each of these restaurants has it´s own charm and the food is hands down delish!

PIZZA EAST - PORTOBELLO ROAD

Can this be my favourite restaurant in the world? Perhaps, taking out the guachinches (typical restaurants) from the Canaries that I miss so much! This restaurant belongs to the Soho House chain and is perhaps the most frequent, I love the atmosphere and the food is!! Pizzas, the white one with Italian sausage and broccoli is delish!, lasagne (my favourite), desserts (try the profiteroles) and their Italian wines, yummy!

GALICIA

When I miss some Pulpo a la Gallega, or some meatballs in tomato sauce or just some real french fries I got to Galicia, a Spanish restaurant at the end of Portobello Road that has been opened forever! It´s always crowded and in general they recommend calling to book as you can go dreaming about your pulpo and you will have to forget about it as you will have to queue, but don´t worry have half pint by the bar and enjoy the spanish environment. Don´t forget to eat Papas bravas.

CHURCHILL ARMS

This pub is an icon in Notting Hill way towards High Street Kensington. Surrounded by flowers and plants all over the building, inside is a normal English pub, but if you go in a bit more, the atmosphere changes totally and you will suddenly move to Thailand. The food is absolutely delicious and very economical too. I always order Red Thai Curry or Pad Thai.

HONEST BURGERS

Maybe one of the best burgers I´ve ever tasted, it´s my favourite place to eat them. They serve them with rosemary fries and they are delicious. I always order the Blue Cheese. There are several in London but I always go to the Portobello Road branch.

DISHOOM

Okay, I said Pizza East was my favourite restaurant, but maybe this one can also be on the list. The best Indian food I´ve ever eaten, it makes my mouth water just thinking about their House Dahl with Cheese Naan, yumm! It´s also perfect to share and they serve delicious cocktails too. They have restaurants in Carnaby Street, Covent Garden, Shoreditch and Kings Cross. The coolest thing is that they are all designed as if they were the old Bombay Cafes. Try the one in Kings Cross, it´s massive!

 THE OAK

It´s an Osteria in Westbourne Park Road that I love to go too. They don´t take reservations, but go early to get a table, if not you can always enjoy a glass of wine and some snacks in their lovely bar upstairs while you wait. The pizza with truffle is to die for!

I hope you have found this guide useful and that you are going to try some of my favourite restaurants if you haven´t yet! :)
